The project entailed the development of a furniture line. I saw the project through from design concepts to launching in ‘The Home Show’ in Royal Dublin Society.
The project began in January 2016. The aim was to release an extensive and diverse furniture range. This would be exhibited at the national Irish ‘Home’ exhibition show on May 20th 2016 in the Royal Dublin Society. This necessitated concepting a broad spectrum of furniture and products. These were quickly condensed and mocked up in Solidworks. The final collection included two coffee tables, pendulum lights, a trench light, desk lights, an elegant dining table, an extendable dining table and a modular shelf system. The products were modified for production in the month of April and exhibited in the “Home” show in May as planned. They can be seen on Gregtisdall.ie.
I was in charge of brand development(including the logo), researching, concepting, drawings/detailing, over seeing production and finishing.I have learnt an enormous amount and thoroughly enjoyed seeing a project from inception right through to the detailing of presentation for the exhibition.
