Dan Friedman Posters

A collection of posters in response to Dan Friedman’s 12-point Modernist Agenda. Below is a selection from the 12 posters series using the risograph printer. The posters were sold in the Chicago Design Museum.

While working at the Chicago Design Museum I worked with the team there to help create the Dan Friedman exhibition. I oversaw the the experience of the retail space while also helping with construction of custom hanging frames. Working so closely with Dan Friedman’s gave a strong insight to his philosophy which I tried to capture in his posters. A true designer who approached his work from all angles with plenty of experimentation. The undertone to all his work was his curiosity and desire to explore. I wanted the posters to reflect Dan Friedman’s structured Swiss design background but also give texture, colour and movement to reflect the personality of his work.
